Born June 4, 1917 on her parents' farm near Weyburn, Annie was the cowgirl of her family, riding horses and helping her dad on the farm. Married in 1938 to Mike Legin, Annie was an extremely devoted wife. Together with Mike, her farming adventures continued; she took great pride in raising chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks, milking cows, managing a huge garden and trucking for Mike during harvest. After moving into town, Annie continued to garden, delighting in the food or flowers that came from just a few seeds. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, bowling, and playing cards. As a charter member of the O.O.R.P, she enjoyed all of her lodge activities and the fellowship shared with other members. She was a prolific writer chronicling many events of her life and journaling the exciting activities of each year. Annie loved to cook and always had the coffee hot and a pot on the stove ready to welcome and feed anyone who came through the door.
