Anne Marie Ellingson, late of Weyburn, passed away April 10, 2016, at the age of 92 years at the Weyburn General Hospital. Anne was predeceased by her husband Roy of 58 years, parents: Sven and Isabelle Jorde; grandson Curtis Fenwick; granddaughter Roxanne Taylor; son-in-law Roger Deschambault and three infant children. She is survived by her seven children: Arlene Selte; Dorene Deschambault; Marlis (Luke) Periard; Sandra (Al) Cleasby; Rodney (Carol) Ellingson; Llyle (Brenda) Ellingson; Randy (Nada) Ellingson;聽 20 grandchildren; 54 great-grands, seven great-great grands and three expecting great-great grand babies that won鈥檛 get to know the love of Grandma. Anne was born July 24, 1923 at Overland, SK.聽 The oldest of seven, Irene Berg, Pearl Berger, Alverna Berger, Clara Ness, Florelle Stefan and Iven (Joanne) Jorde. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church her whole life and enjoyed her time with the Zion Lutheran Women and singing in various church choirs.聽 She also sang and played her guitar right up to the end. Whether it be at a family function, the nursing homes, Bison Manor or just for fun. Sewing was a passion as well from making kids cloths to altering wedding dresses, and making sure each family had a Baptism gown. Anne enjoyed family times the most whether it was holidays, Christmas concerts, communithons, dance and music recitals, or sporting events. She tried to attend them all. Anne鈥檚 Bison Manor family was important to her as well. She enjoyed the visiting, group suppers, and special events. Sitting on various committees was a special pride for her. She was laid to rest at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Estevan, next to her husband of 58 years. Viewing was held on Thursday, April 14, at 7:00 pm from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn. A Funeral Service for Anne was held on Friday, April 15, at 1:00pm from Zion Lutheran Church, Weyburn, with Reverend Martin Olson, officiating. Active Pallbearers were: Autin Docken, Steve Deschambault, Rob Lund, Kim Cleasby, Luke Ellingson, Jeff Ellingson. Lunch was held at Zion Lutheran Church, with interment taking place at Souris Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Estevan.
