Amy 鈥淒oreen鈥� Leslie, born July 3, 1931, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Gladys Westling; husband, Edwin Lorence Leslie; daughter, Marilyn Stewart; brothers, Elmer, Basil, Randy and Richard Westling and sister, Thelma Bloor. Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her son, Bryon Leslie of Yorkton; son-in-law, Rick Stewart of Weyburn; grandchildren: Trista (Chad) Van Winkle and their children, Makayla, Jayce and Shaylee; Jillian Leslie (Sean Dearlove) and their son, Aidan; Meaghan Leslie, Sean Stewart and Brandy (Shane) McCooey; sisters, Lillian Johnson and Sharon (Art) Hummel; brothers, Donny and Richard 鈥淒ickie鈥� Westling as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation was held Thursday, January 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn. The Funeral Service was held Friday, January 27, at 11:00 a.m. from Grace United Church, Weyburn, with Reverend M. Barnabas officiating. Interment followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn. Active Pallbearers were Sean Stewart, Sean Dearlove, Rick Stewart and Bryan Leslie. Donations in memory of Doreen may be made to Tatagwa View.
