It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother Adeline Fradette on January 7, 2012, with her family by her side. Mom was born on June 16, 1949 in Canora. She took her schooling in Norquay, Biggar, Sturgis, and Radville. As a young girl she enjoyed skating, and getting into all sorts of trouble with her brother and sister. In 1968 she received her practical nursing diploma and then worked at the Radville hospital for a few years, after which time she became a full-time homemaker on the farm. In 1982 she moved into the town of Radville where she took many jobs housekeeping for people's homes and businesses. Mom also enjoyed reading, gardening and making numerous trips to Canora to visit her mother and other family members. During these visits, they would enjoy speaking Ukrainian, which she was proud to speak fluently. In the summer of 2008 she moved to Weyburn to be closer to her family. During this time she enjoyed phone calls and visits from friends and family at her apartment. Mom struggled with COPD and other conditions which unfortunately kept her from fully enjoying her retirement. Mom was called to God's tender embrace on January 7 and will be greatly missed. Our mom was predeceased by her mother Pearl Zielinski, her father Harry Zielinski, and her brother Orest Zielinski. She leaves behind her daughter Bonnie (Jeremy) Seitz, of Weyburn, her son Kelly (Tracy) Fradette of Saskatoon, her two grandchildren, Marissa and Taryn, and her sister Sylvia (Don) Lopetinsky of Edmonton, AB. We would like to thank everyone who called, sent gifts, and took time to celebrate Mom's life with us on January 11 at St. Vincent de Paul church. ~Bonnie (Jeremy) Seitz & Kelly (Tracy) Fradette.
