The Weyburn Therapeutic Animal Park opened for the summer season on Sunday afternoon, featuring pony rides and a petting zoo provided by Houligan Acres. A number of the pens had animals for families to see, and the Weyburn Humane Society provided a barbecue. The animal park also had a signup sheet for people to volunteer to help out with chores during the season.
