Okay so as many of us have noticed, we have become apart of the technology age. We all have our Twitter, My Space, Facebook, Blackberry ways of getting ahold of one another and even though we complain about it we are perfectly fine in using them and not giving them up. If you haven't been blessed with the chance to connect with these social networks heres your first welcome to the world and click the links to join. www.twitter.comwww.facebook.comwww.myspace.comGo ahead drink the kool-aid, your white nikes are in the mail and join us in all the fun, yeah fun thats what we will call it. The Social Networking world has taken over that many of us no longer know how to pick up the phone and call someone. Sadly its all about the "check out the latest on Facebook", "send me a BBM", or "I will invite you to the event page it has all the details." Mind you I have become very fond of the idea behind Facebook as a way to keep in touch with the family members or friends that live too far away to be involved in every day life so they are able to have a way to connect with me and see into A) what they are missing and B) a feeling of as though they were there and being apart of your life. However by allowing other people into my Facebook life there is always the potential of the sorry to say it High School Drama that tends to follow people around like a lost puppy, or they just love to create because well their lives are boring and they need to spice it up and hopes that by creating issues in your life, theirs will for a few moments be entertained and feel a little more fulfilled. The part that I do "love" ( and by putting love I am really just being sarcastic) about he Facebook world is when people but their status about what they have done in the last ten seconds or what they will be doing, their latest break up or they choose to have a mental breakdown through their statuses and then when someone finally says enough already they begin blow up number two and say that ppl need to mind their own business! Like really come on now who are you fooling you put yourself out there in all your drama glory and now you want us the viewers/ listners/ gawkers to just sit back and not say anything because we are talking too much about you and what you have said on Facebook? Well then a good way to stop this from happening to you is just don't put it out there. Sure we have all been pulled into the drama time after time ( and no not Cyndi Lauper style) but after the first time we usually try to watch our P's and Q's. Facebook can become quite the concern for some and they seem to not be able to get enough, they are so addicted that they have instant updates, and apps on their phones, Yep I can say not me at alll.nope not at allanywho if you find that you might have a bit of addiction to the gossip central world of Facebook have no fear there is a fantastic Facebook addicts anonymous group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=9718160747#!/group.php?gid=9718160747&v=wallThis group can possibly be very handy for you and well could help tame your addiction or just give you a chuckle, there is also a Farmville Addicts Anonymous (FAA) http://www.facebook.com/pages/FAA-Farmville-Addicts-Anonymous/128092928880 , just incase your life has began to revolve around your electronic farm while your cat that you have had for ohhh 5 years is getting ignored and has began to starve and contemplating eating its own tail. The Social Network sites are handy but when you begin forgetting what the real world looks like or what colour the sky is maybe its time to step away and head out to see what you are truly missing in the world around you.
