Dear Premier Wall:

In my e-mail letter of Jan 31/2011, that you shared with the Health Minister regarding the bed closures in Deer View Lodge, it appears that you and your advisors do not wish to fully understand the unnecessary abuse of our citizens.

In my e-mail letter of Jan 31/2011, that you shared with the Health Minister regarding the bed closures in Deer View Lodge, it appears that you and your advisors do not wish to fully understand the unnecessary abuse of our citizens. You state that the board appointees represent the entire Health Region. In our situation this is NOT correct! You state we should work with the regional authority. They refuse us. Health Minister McMorris said he would request that the board chair arrange for her board and our group to meet and resolve the issue. That has NOT happened!

The Sun Country Health Authority has huge internal problems. Mr. Weedmark's investigating and our findings have proof of that. The internal (and external) intimidation/manipulations and bullying needs to end. Decisions being made are unfound personal perceptions with no statistical proof. NO truth at times and absolutely NO common sense. This bullying is like a cancer, it spreads and affects others around it, then decisions are made and ratified in blind confusion.

Sun Country says everything has changed. Oh? Management now chooses to waste health care dollars on a monthly newspaper column to promote "The Chosen One". How is it that Sun Country needs to advertise? Who are they competing with? Our MLAs just don't get it. How can your government tolerate the board chair's disrespect for the Health Minister when she openly refuses his request? Something is very wrong; what is everyone afraid of?

We are not a radical gang of misfits, we are honest, and law abiding people who live here, work here, and understand the situation. What we are asking for is Respect and Equality.

Mr. Premier the buck has been passed to you. You know how to reach us.

Ken Wilson
