Dear Mayor Shirley,
Did you know that there are 6 ski hills in Saskatchewan, but none are near Carlyle? Three reasons why I think we should get a ski hill are so we can get money and tourists. So we can have fun. And so we can get more exercise for kids and families. You might think it is way too much money, but it will also bring lots of money in for Carlyle.
The main reason why a ski hill is a good idea is we can get money and tourists; people will buy food in restaurants and support our businesses. We will also be well known and have more jobs in the winter.
The second reason is so we can have fun. It will be thrilling for new skiers; they will also learn new skills. It will be less of a drive and that makes everybody happy.
The last reason is to exercise. You will lose weight, get stronger and people will spend more time as a family and be happier.
I really think we should build a ski hill in Carlyle. Would not have to drive to ski. There will be lots of jobs and boost Carlyle's economy. We already have hills to start the project. I hope you listen to my letter and say yes.
