Alida News - support a raffle

I received word the other day that a very dear friend (neighbour of my parents, which of course included me), Dianne Hansen of Redvers had passed away on May 4 at the age of 57 years.

I received word the other day that a very dear friend (neighbour of my parents, which of course included me), Dianne Hansen of Redvers had passed away on May 4 at the age of 57 years.

She will be forever remembered by her parents, Erik and Shirley Hansen, brother Robert (Valerie) Hansen, nieces Felicia (Joel) Jacobson, Melissa Yanyu, Katelynn Hansen and nephew Tyler (Josie) Hansen and their families. She is also survived by members of the Petruniak family of Calder and of course many dear friends. A celebration of life will take place at a later date when it is safe to gather. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincerest and deepest sympathies to all of the Hansen family.

Hope all the moms had a great day on Sunday. Also hopefully you were able to be treated to something special. Some of us were treated to a morning breakfast at the 361 Café here in Alida – real good and delicious food as always, Lori. Thanks.

Wishing the following a very happy birthday this coming week – Tim Boettcher, Layne Lamport and Tim Cowan. May you all have a great day and many more to come.

Don’t forget to visit the rec board BBQ Raffle on the Facebook site to purchase a raffle ticket, giving yourself a chance to win the barbecue package. Or visit one of the Alida business and purchase a square – the draw will soon come to an end. Good luck.
