The Patti Underwood Memorial Scholarship (formally known as District 7 Scholarship) is available each spring to members who have been active in 4-H for more than three years and are involved in clubs within the District 7 area.
The 2020 recipients have been awarded to members Brandy Fettes of Radville 4-H Beef Club and Shayla Moore of Brokenshell Multiple Club.
Both members have been members for 13 years and very deserving of this grant.
Brandy will be attending Olds College completing Business Management Certificate program and Shayla will be attending University of Saskatchewan, completing a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Agriculture.
District 7 President Brittany Stepp awarded these members in August and wished them both all the success in their future endeavours.
Typically this award is presented to members during the Weyburn Show and Sale in July, however due to COVID-19 this was cancelled and 4-H events were restricted to club level only.
