The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce will host two major events on Wednesday, March 22, including the President’s Dinner and annual general meeting for the Chamber, and a breakfast speaker in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The keynote speaker for the President’s Dinner will be Keith Stemler, CEO of Dominion Energy Processing Group, the company which is proposing to build a new oil refinery at Stoughton. The President’s Dinner will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Cocktails for the President’s Dinner are at 6 p.m., with the meal at 7 p.m., and the program to follow.
The dinner will also include the presentation of the prestigious Golden Spike Award, given to “someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the community through his or her volunteer services during the years preceding the date of the award.â€
Tickets for the President’s Dinner are also available on the website or at the office at a cost of $30 each or $240 for a table of eight.
