CAA Sask presents Awards of Excellence

Nine towing contractors from around the province plus two staff from CAA Regina Fleet were recently recognized as recipients of the CAA Saskatchewan 2017 Roadside Assistance Award of Excellence.

Nine towing contractors from around the province plus two staff from CAA Regina Fleet were recently recognized as recipients of the CAA Saskatchewan 2017 Roadside Assistance Award of Excellence. This prestigious award recognizes tow operators that provide consistent, professional and reliable emergency roadside assistance to CAA Members, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The annual award is given to only a select number of approximately 200 CAA contractors in the province.
The CAA Saskatchewan 2017 Roadside Assistance Award of Excellence recipients are Ryan Williams of Top Notch Towing, Weyburn; Rick Leont and Shawn Hansen of the CAA Regina Fleet; Dallas Baillie of Baillie Boys Towing, Abernethy; Geoff Roller, Astro Towing, Saskatoon; Willie Cowan, OK Tire and Auto, Whitewood; Terry Berg, Lash-Berg Towing, North Battleford; Shaun Bergveinson, Lakeshore Towing, La Ronge; Scott Brown, Bonick鈥檚 Auto Service, Melville; Pat Labossiere, Pat鈥檚 Towing, Chaplin and Shane Hannah, Provincial Club Towing, Regina.
鈥淐ongratulations to this year鈥檚 recipients. Thank you for the excellent service you provide to our valued CAA members,鈥 said Scott McIntyre, Vice President, Automotive Services, CAA Saskatchewan. 鈥淭his year鈥檚 recipients have truly gone above and beyond in not only putting CAA Members and customer service first, but also keeping everyone鈥檚 safety top of mind.鈥
During the awards ceremony, a memoriam candle was lit in remembrance of Courtney Schaefer, a tow truck operator and CAA contractor from Esterhazy who lost his life in March of 2017 while on duty.
When travelling on Saskatchewan highways, and you see flashing blue and amber lights, please slow down, reduce your speed, and be alert. Always slow to 60 km/h for working tow truck operators on roads and highways.
