WEYBURN – Members of the Young Fellows Club of Weyburn gathered with children from the Weyburn Hurricanes Waterpolo Club to present a donation of $3,000 on Tuesday evening at the Weyburn Leisure Centre.
In the back are Ginger Kelln, treasurer for the waterpolo club; and Young Fellows members Ray Jarvis, Andy Barber, Trent Rommann, president Chad Ror and Jeremy Wall.
The funds will be used to purchase equipment, swim suits and towels for the club for next season.
The waterpolo club is just wrapping up the current season, and will resume again in the fall.
Participants in the waterpolo club are between the ages of five to 18, and includes a learn-to-swim program for the youngest members.
