WEYBURN – The Weyburn Wrestling Club had a full weekend of activities, with a wrestling clinic on Saturday, and then hosting 160 wrestlers from around the province on Sunday for a one-day tournament.
Provincial wrestling coach Fuji Tang put on the clinic Saturday at the club’s gym in the Elgin Mall, working both with new coaches in the club and with newer young wrestlers.
There was also training provided for those who were helping out with the tournament held on Sunday.
Wrestlers from throughout the province, including Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Swift Current, Elrose and elsewhere, took part in the day-long tournament Sunday, including several of the members of the Weyburn Wrestling Club.
