WEYBURN – Members of the Weyburn Wrestling Club went to Winnipeg to compete at the Wama Next Gen wrestling tournament, and a number of the athletes came home with medals.
Those who attended included Ephraim Henning, Jep Furgason, Conner Pocha, Owen Arthur, Donovan Lanz, Cassius Henning, Anna Lanz, Coach Shane Lanz and Coach Greg Kiraly.
The results are as follows: Brysen Richaud won a Gold medal; Conner Pocha, Gold; Ephraim Henning, Gold; Owen Arthur won silver; Jep Furgason, silver; Donovan Lanz, silver; Cassius Henning finished in fifth place, and Anna Lanz finished in sixth place.
