Wade's Atom team enjoyed a good tournament this past weekend, losing 7-3 on Saturday morning to a tough Estevan team, but winning a great game on Sunday morning against Radville - a team they had lost to on two previous occasions. This qualified the team for the "B" side championship on Sunday afternoon against a good Weyburn squad.
In the Radville game, Jared Valentine had three goals with line-mate Jennifer Wilson adding the fourth goal. Tyler Colpitts played a great game in net and Cade Bendtsen, Devin Loustel, Mason Kyle, and Logan Young playing inspired on defence. The final game on Sunday, against Weyburn, was a different story. The team played well in the first period but struggled in the second, eventually losing. Overall, the tournament was enjoyed by all and we were proud of our team.
