It was an excellent weekend for the Estevan female Power Dodge peewee Vipers as they went 5-0 at the SaskTel Female Hockey Challenge in Regina to win the A side of the tournament.
The Vipers defeated the Melfort Ice Devils 17-1, the Regina Capitals 7-2, the Saskatoon Comet Heat 4-1, the Regina Wild 8-2 and Fort Qu'Appelle 4-2.
Estevan resumes league play this weekend with three road games. They'll be in Balgonie to take on the Prairie Storm on Friday evening, before two games in Regina against the Flames on Saturday and the Wild on Sunday.
