Manor native Tianna Kennett (pictured, centre) earned her place at the top of the podium at The Canadian Junior and Senior National Wrestling Championships March 24-26 in St. Catherines, Ontario. Kennett grappled her way to a gold medal in the 59 kg weight class. Her win qualifies Kennett to compete in the Pan-American United World Wrestling Championship in Lima, Peru in June, as well as the Junior World Championships in Finland in August. The University of Calgary student also earned the opportunity to be part of wrestling's Canadian National team for another season.Â
