ESTEVAN - Robyn Silvernagle's rink will face Team Nancy Martin in the final of the Viterra Scotties Tournament of Hearts Sunday afternoon in Estevan.
Silvernagle defeated Sherry Anderson 12-7 in eight ends Sunday in the Scotties' semifinal. Silvernagle scored three in the first end, and after Anderson responded with two in the second, Silvernagle added three in the third for a 6-2 advantage.
Anderson managed one in the fourth end, and then Silvernagle recorded four in the fifth for a 10-3 lead at the break.
The teams traded scores of two over the next three ends, with Anderson getting a pair in each of the sixth and eighth ends, and Silvernagle managing two in the seventh.
It was Silvernagle's second win in 24 hours over Anderson, as the two teams also met in the B final.
Silvernagle will face Nancy Martin in the championship final at 3 p.m. Sunday. The two teams met Saturday night in the battle between the winners of the A event (Martin) and B event (Silvernagle), with Martin winning 9-8 to take the direct route to the final.

Fans were treated to a couple of close, entertaining games in the first playoff matchups at the Viterra Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Estevan on Saturday night.
Nancy Martin’s rink defeated Robyn Silvernagle’s team 9-8 in a clash between the winners of the A event (Martin) and the B event (Silvernagle). With the win, Martin advanced directly to the championship final at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, while Silvernagle will still play in the semifinal at 10 a.m. Sunday.
The game was tied 6-6 through five ends, thanks to a score of two in the first, a steal of one in the second and a score of three in four for Martin. Silvernagle scored four in three and two in five.
The scoring slowed in the second half, with Martin getting the winning points in the ninth end to lead 9-7. Silvernagle added one in the 10th.
The other playoff matchup saw Sherry Anderson edge Skylar Ackerman 8-7 in an extra end in a game between the two C event winners. Ackerman had a 4-2 lead through six ends, but Anderson scored two in seven to tie the game, and stole one in eight.
Ackerman added three in nine to lead 7-5, but Anderson pulled off a double to score two points in the 10th and final end, and stole one in 11 for the victory.
