MIDALE - The Â鶹ÊÓƵ East Aaron Well Servicing U18 AA Goldwings earned a 5-0 shutout victory over the Northwest Sharks on Sunday in Midale.
Megan Reid, Talyn Johnston and Kaylin Wilhelm scored to give the Wings a 3-0 lead through two periods, and Katelyn Thackeray added two in the third.
Ivey Grant earned the shutout in goal.
The Goldwings (14-6-2) will close out the regular season in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League when they host the Northeast Aces on Feb. 18 and the Saskatoon Comet Legends the following day at 2 p.m. Both games will be played in Midale.

The Carlyle U18 A Wildcats concluded their regular season with a 5-4 win over the Prairie Storm Sunday in Carlyle.
Alexys Roppel scored twice for the Wildcats. Kasenya Einarson, Dixie Corscadden and Cherish Kaysaywaysemat had the Carlyle goals. Kaysaywaysemat’s goal with 2:17 to play in the second period was the winner.
Riley Scott earned the win in goal.
Earlier in the week, the Wildcats lost 5-3 to the Balcarres Barracudas last Wednesday and 5-4 to the Wood River Ice Cats on Saturday.
Einarson had two goals for Carlyle and Roppel also scored against Balcarres. Lexi Pirlot was the Carlyle goalie.
Roppel, Jaycee Gervais, Eva Bear and Paige DuPerrier had Carlyle’s goals against Wood River – a game the Wildcats trailed 3-0 after two periods.
Scott was the goalie.
The Widlcats finished the season at 3-16-1.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ East TS&M U18 A Gold Wings tied the Â鶹ÊÓƵwest Cyclones 2-2 on Friday in Midale, lost 4-2 in Balcarres on Saturday and 5-3 to Wood River Sunday in Midale.
Halle Schurko and Tyra Kmita scored for the Wings against the Cyclones. Kmita’s goal 2:04 into the third period tied the game.
Delainy Knoll and Jenna Emmel had the goals against Balcarres.
Knoll, Kaylee Rosengren and Alyssa Schweigert scored against the Ice Cats. It was a game the Goldwings led 3-0 at one point.
Kailyn McFadden was in goal for the Wings in all three games.
The Wings (2-16-1) will finish the season on Feb. 18 when they visit the Prairie Storm in White City.
