On December 21, Santa arrived to skate with our club!! Each skater was invited to bring a friend and great fun was had by all! Thanks to Santa everyone was spoiled with a treat bag; and thanks to Brian and Delores Meyer in the rink kitchen, hot chocolate and goodies were an additional treat!
On Saturday, January 5th and Sunday, January 6th, Carlyle was represented at the Virden Skating Competition. Brooke Valentine competed in the Pre-Preliminary Level in Spins (2nd) and Elements (7th). In Introductory the following competed in Freeskate (different flights): Kyla Fischer (2nd), Rese King (4th), Rylan King (6th), Madison Cuddington (7th), and Denae King (11th) and in Elements (different flights): Kyla Fischer (4th), Rylan King (5th), Rese King (9th), Madison Cuddington (11th). Kyla, Madison, Rylan and Rese also competed together as a team and placed 9th. Wow what a great experience for these girls!!
The Carlyle Club is hosting a Test Day on January 21st. Feel free to come take in some great entertainment to give you a small taste of what you will experience at the up and coming Carnival on March 6th!
