The Moose Mountain Lions Club held its annual golf fundraiser Sept. 19 at Golf Kenosee. Ìý

It was a beautiful fall day, a welcomed change from the last few years of cold weather.Ìý

The fundraiser was run a little differently this year to adhere to COVID-19 rules and regulations. Instead of a shotgun start like usual, there were split tee times from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., only allowing for 26 teams this year. Registrations booked up in under three days. Ìý

Although there was no supper and cabaret at the Moosehead this year, Club 19 served a delicious roast beef supper for golfers when they were finished.Ìý

CongratulationsÌýto Kayle Swanson, Brody Swanson, Hunter Smith and Marc Shaw who got the lowest score of the day with a 50 (with the help of a few purchased mulligans and putting string). Kayle Swanson also won the putting contest and donated $100 of his winnings back to the Lions Club.Ìý

The Moose Mountain Lions would like to thank all of their supporters, sponsors and volunteers for making this event possible. See Moose Mountain Lions Club on Facebook for a list of sponsors.Ìý
