Resumes training soon

With schools no longer available for use by local groups, the Moose Mountain Karate Club decided to open their own dojo facility. Ìý

This has been a daunting, but exciting venture for the entire karate club.Ìý

The club plans to resume classes around the middle of October and intends to follow the provincial guidelines set out by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. With those guidelines in mind, the club has made several key changes to their operations. Ìý

Classes will now be held on several nights of the week as opposed to only a single night as in previous years. This will allow the club to establish smaller groups which adhere to the physical distancing requirements. Ìý

There has also been time added between classes to allow for sanitization of the training area and equipment. The training area will also be marked into individual training squares. Karate students will also be required to bring their own water bottles and arrive at the dojo in the appropriate training attire.Ìý
