MOOSEJAWTODAY.COM -- It’s time to celebrate, Moose Jaw.
The Moose Jaw Warriors arrived home from the Memorial Cup early Saturday morning and plans have quickly come together for a championship celebration on Sunday afternoon.
The event will begin with an arrival parade from Main Street North down to the Moose Jaw Events Centre beginning at 3 p.m., with fans invited to line the streets and cheer on their Western Hockey League champions.
The parade will be followed by a championship celebration at the MJEC at 4 p.m., with players and coaches from the team offering remarks and fans able to get photos with the Ed Chynoweth Cup.
The event was put together in rapid-fire fashion by the City of Moose Jaw and Tourism Moose Jaw, with the city allocating funds for the celebration at a recent council meeting.
Be sure to get your spots on Main Street early, and have fun cheering one more time for the greatest team in Moose Jaw Warriors history.
