A group of junior girls set off on a cross-country run at the Weyburn Golf Course on Wednesday, with participants from schools throughout the southeast district taking part. Weyburn runner Joanne Stewart of the Weyburn Junior High, seen at left in behind the front-running girl, finished this race in first place. Runners came from schools including Pangman, Midale, Yellow Grass, Radville, Estevan, Arcola, Carievale, Carlyle and other schools in the southeast along with Weyburn schools.Review photo 2551 – Greg Nikkel
