Bryn Mund was golfing at White Bear Lake Golf Course recently, just beating out a summer downpour at the conclusion of a planned round of nine holes with three of her friends.
Bryn started golfing when she was introduced to the game by her family as a way to enjoy the outdoor summer weather and has been teeing it up now for around 15 years. Her first round was played at the Carlton Trail Golf Course south of her home town of Langenburg, usually golfing the nine-hole course with her husband and friends, and plays the occasional women’s night there as well.
Mund has played golf at courses in Alberta and B.C., and recommends the Hyde Mountain Course in Sicamous, noting that it is a particularly scenic course that can be enjoyed by a golfer of any skill level. Mund also mentions the Madge Lake Course in Duck Mountain Provincial Park as a course in Saskatchewan that is also very beautiful for those enjoying the view while playing a round of golf.
Mund plays TaylorMade drivers and irons and has selected an Odyssey flat stick for putting her ball of choice, which is a pink Vice.
She has yet to sink a hole in one, recollecting that three to five feet is as close as she has come to that golf milestone.
Mund has hopes to golf a course in Wisconsin she has heard about, which has a hole in which you have to take a ferry to the island green to complete the hole.
She claims that 47 is the best she has played nine holes in, and she is certain that she can best that mark in the future.
