After taking one year off, Flyin’ High at the Eagle Showdown is back again! Eagle Motorsports and Joey Galloway Racing is once again bringing back the action of stock car racing to the area.
                 This year’s action is set for Saturday, Sept. 30, one mile west of Manor, just off of Hwy 13. There will be four classes of racing this year including Hobby Stocks, Street Stocks, Modifieds, and – new this year – Slingshots.
                 Hot laps will begin at 2 p.m., while racing will begin at 2:30 p.m. The Hobby, Street and Slingshot races are 30 lap features, while the Modifieds is set for a 50 lap feature with a mandatory open five minute fuel stop on lap 25.
                 A Ladies Powder Puff is also set for the day and will consist of a 10 lap race.
                 A regular pit pass is set at $20, general admission is $10, while kids aged six and under get in free.
                 A cabaret will be held that night from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. The cabaret is $10 per person and is restricted to the age of majority. Camping is available but there is no power or sewer on site.
