First win for Pee Wee Young Fellows

The Weyburn Pee Wee "AA" Young Fellows played two games at home this weekend against the Melville "AA" Millionaires with a loss and a win. On Saturday afternoon the Young Fellows hosted the Millionaires at Crescent Point Place losing 1 to 4.

On Saturday afternoon the Young Fellows hosted the Millionaires at Crescent Point Place losing 1 to 4.Goalie Nicholas Cuthbert took a total of 27 shots during the game with the Young Fellows taking 13 shots against the Millionaires.Brayden Barsness was the lone scorer for the Young Fellows with an assist to Blake Dempsey early in the first period.

On Sunday afternoon the Young Fellows were back in action against the Millionaires, this time defeating them 4 to 1. Conor LaFoy set the tone of the game for the Young Fellows with an early goal only eight seconds into the first period.LaFoy's goal was assisted by Chad Brock with the Millionaires unable to get a goal past the Young Fellows goalie Dalton Dosch in the first period. Early into the second period, Tylar Fox scored the second goal with an assist by Jackson Soanes and the third goal for the Young Fellows was scored by Andrew Hulbert, unassisted.The Millionaires managed to put one in the net in the second period.

In the third period, Tylar Fox scored his second goal of the night, unassisted, sealing the first win of the season for the Young Fellows.
