Dance Zone dancers strutt their stuff

Dance Zone School of Dancing members took the stage in Carlyle on May 4 at Carlyle Elementary School. The club, taught by instructors out of Weyburn, have 67 children registered for dance this year.

Dance Zone School of Dancing members took the stage in Carlyle on May 4 at Carlyle Elementary School. The club, taught by instructors out of Weyburn, have 67 children registered for dance this year. Teaching dancers aged 3 years and up, the children and adults learn an assortment of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre and lyrical.

This is the club's first year in Carlyle and the dancers have done an incredible job thus far. The junior students have travelled to two competitions including Weyburn and Yorkton. Senior students have travelled to a number of competitions including Ogema, Weyburn, Regina, Yorkton, Moose Jaw and will be heading to Minneapolis this weekend.

The dance recital on Wednesday saw the presentation of 36 diverse routines.
