The Â鶹ÊÓƵeast Vipers Volleyball Club’s 17U team competed on Saturday, Jan. 14, and Sunday, Jan. 15, in Yorkton in their first tournament of the season. The team consists of Zoe Dubois (Langbank), Hope Robertson (Carlyle), Sydney McKenzie (Midale), Kenna Harkness (Arcola), Madison Stinson (Lampman), Madison Riddell (Carlyle), Hailee Fleck (Lampman), Sadie Fichter (Lampman), Shae Johnston (Arcola), Katelyn Hutt (Lampman), and Kenzie Fleck (Lampman).
               The girls played in a nine-team round robin amongst 17 and 18U teams. Although settling in the first couple of games they came out and found success. The team took on Fort Qu’appelle, Invermay, Carlyle, Lanigan, Muenster, Esterhazy, and Yorkton.
               Only the top two teams from the round robin made playoffs and the Vipers would like to congratulate the Redcoat Rebels based in Carlyle on their efforts in making the final. It was a weekend of great volleyball.
               The Â鶹ÊÓƵeast Vipers have expanded this year to include a 16U and a 15U team as well.
               The 16U team this year is being coached by Amy Jackson and Tyson Hislop. Playing on this team is Abby Phair (Weyburn), Brooklyn Stinson (Lampman), Michelline Biermann (Manor), Makaila Mansfield (Wawota), Ciera Romanow (Corning), Dawson Fuller (Stoughton), Gracie Vogel (Stoughton), Sheredin Slykhuis (Carlyle), Katie Weinrauch (Lampman), Tristin Fleck (Lampman), and Morgan Robertson (Carlyle).
               The 15U team is being coached by Shalane Haselhan. Playing for the 15U team is Micah Walbaum (Stoughton), Tori Chapman (Carlyle), Hailey Dahl (Arcola), Gracie James (Arcola), Lainey Dube (Lampman), Alicia Fleck (Arcola), Madison Cuddington (Manor), and Kennedy Laub (Lampman).
