聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 During the Cougars' December games, Peebles and Templeton won the chance to take part in the Carlyle Pharmasave's Chance to Win $25,000 on Jan. 20 in a shoot-out.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Peebles won an unprecedented two chances to shoot, which could have potentially netted him $50,000, while Templeton won a chance to walk away with $25,000.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 However, the task wasn't an easy one, according to Carlyle Pharmasave's Steve Schultz.
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淭hey're shooting from 89 feet away and the slot they have to put the puck through is three and a half by one and a half inches, so it's barely bigger than a puck.鈥
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Peebles and Templeton both confessed to being 鈥渁 bit nervous鈥 before taking to the ice between the game's second and third periods with Templeton joking that his neighbour's fence 鈥渕ight be a little higher if Dan wins.鈥
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 鈥淏ut seriously, they're great neighbours and Shirley (Dan's partner) has been wishing us both well on Facebook.鈥
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Schultz added: 鈥淭he Cougars were looking for a sponsor and I was happy to do this. It was a lot of fun and both guys were great sports.鈥
