The weekend of July 20 to 22 saw the Saskota Baseball League's Harbourne Tournament unfold. Those who made the playoffs included the Carlyle Cardinals, Carnduff Astros, Kenosee Cubs, Lampman Pirates, Estevan Tower Wolves, Oxbow Chiefs, Wawota Pats, and Arcola Threshers.

Game play took place over the three days with crowds enjoying every minute of action. Great skill was showcased throughout the weekend by all of the teams.

With great weather and an exciting atmosphere the games played featured some of the best baseball in the southeast.

Ultimately it was Arcola and Carlyle that made it to the final game on Sunday, July 22. Each team played hard, but it was the Cardinals who walked away the champions. They won the hard fought match five to zero.

The final action for the Saskota Baseball League will be the first annual All-Star Game. The top three players from the Carlyle Cardinals, Kenosee Cubs, Arcola Threshers, Wawota Pats, and the Redvers A's will make up the north team. Those from the Estevan Tower Wolves, Lampman Pirates, Lampman Cubs, Oxbow Chiefs, and Carnduff Astros will come together to create the south team.

This will all take place on Aug. 18 at 3 p.m. Held at the Kenosee Ball Park admission will be $5. There is a concession that will be available on site and beer gardens will be sponsored by the Kenosee Cubs Baseball Club.
