Carlyle’s two hockey players currently in the NHL returned home on Saturday.
Haydn Fleury, who is a defenceman with the Carolina Hurricanes, and his younger brother Cale, a blue-liner with the Montreal Canadiens, were in the community for an autograph session with local fans.
They signed jerseys and other memorabilia from their respective NHL teams. Many fans turned out to greet the local stars, to pose for pictures with them and to discuss the brothers’ success during the past season.
The Fleury brothers’ jerseys will be permanently displayed at the rink.
Haydn’s agent Gerry Johansson of the Sports Corporation was responsible for the photos that were handed out that day.
