With three games in three days, the Estevan Female bantam A Power Dodge Chargers were busy over the weekend. The Chargers were at home to the Fort Qu'Appelle Flyers on Friday night, on the road in White City to face the Prairie Storm on Saturday, and then back at home on Sunday to host the Moose Jaw Warriors.

In their first matchup on Friday, Estevan came from behind for a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Fort Qu'Appelle at the Lignite Miners Centre. Scoring for Estevan were Bailey Pierson and Brooklyn Dukart, while Tamara Irwin made 20 saves in the win.

The Chargers faced their first defeat of the season against the Prairie Storm on Saturday. Hailey Dukart scored the lone goal for Estevan and Irwin stopped 16 of 18 shots in a 2-1 loss.

On Sunday the Chargers redeemed themselves with a big 5-1 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors at the LMC. Brooklyn Dukart and Taylor Colbow each had a pair of goals for Estevan, while Madison Colbow had the other. Brianna Cote earned the victory in goal with 13 saves.

The Chargers now have a record of 6-1 on the year, and they will be back on the ice at the LMC this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. when they host the Swift Current Colts.
