The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins won their first road game of the season last night in Yorkton.

Leading the way for the Bruins in a 7-3 victory was 20-year-old forward Ben Findlay with three goals, one in each period. Matt Dochylo, Cole Olson, Mark Cross and Tyler Spencer had the other Bruin goals, while Michael Hengen added three assists.

Though the Terriers managed to outshoot the Bruins 39-25, Estevan goalie Shea Cooper - who got his second start in a row - kept the Yorkton offence at bay with 36 saves.

With the win, the Bruins improved their record to 6-3-0-0, while the Terriers fell to 7-3-1-2.

Next up for Estevan is a three-game home stand, where they'll host the Melfort Mustangs this Friday, Battlefords North Stars on Saturday and then the Bauer Division leading Humboldt Broncos next Tuesday.

The Bruins acquired Dochylo, a 19-year-old forward from the Mustangs for future considerations earlier this week.
