The Weyburn Canadian Tire Jumpstart committee is hosting a barbecue to raise funds to sponsor local children to participate in sporting events.The hotdog and hamburger barbecue will take place on Saturday, May 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Canadian Tire. There will be a large trampoline for children to jump on, which will be raffled-off at the day's end.The Jumpstart program helps local children in financial-need participate in organized sport and recreation such as hockey, figure skating, dance, gymnastics, Scouts, Guides and much more.
