The TS&M bantam AA Bruins were tied in their series 1-1 heading into game three March 17 against the Prairie Storm.
The Storm scored an early goal in the first and then again in the final two minutes to take a 2-0 lead into the dressing rooms.
With the Bruins down a man near the beginning of the second period, the Storm took advantage and extended their lead to three goals. But the Bruins fought back.
At 11:11 of the second, the Bruins finally got on the board thanks to a goal from Lynnden Pastachak. That was just the beginning of the comeback. Less than two minutes later, Talys Halabuza banged in a goal to close the gap to just one.
The teams headed into the third period 3-2, and the Bruins came out in the final frame with some jump and tied it at 3-3, when Zach Paxman scored 1:07 in.
Just 20 seconds later the momentum the Bruins had would be shattered when the Storm took another one-goal lead.
That was all the Storm needed to swing the rest of the game in their favour and scored twice more for the 6-3 win.
Tanner Tytlansdvik was in goal for the Bruins, suffering the loss in the bantams' last game.
