CARLYLE - Recently the Carlyle Golf Club placed tarp covers on their nine grass greens for the winter.
Groundskeeper Steve Polsom was very pleased with the turnout. “I have been covering these greens for years and never have had this job take only an hour and 43 minutes. Thank-you to all that volunteered including employees of Pure-Chem Energy.”
The greens at the Carlyle Golf Club are covered annually each fall to prevent winter wind damage and snow mold.
