18U Vipers climb rankings

The Â鶹ÊÓƵeast Saskatchewan Vipers 18U team participated in Sask Cup 3 on the weekend of March 21 and 22 in Saskatoon. The girls took on Nipawin in their first game of the round robin, which they were able to win.

                The Â鶹ÊÓƵeast Saskatchewan Vipers 18U team participated in Sask Cup 3 on the weekend of March 21 and 22 in Saskatoon.

                The girls took on Nipawin in their first game of the round robin, which they were able to win. They then lost to Moose Jaw in a close match taking second in their pool.

                Their first cross-over match went well and they won it, but lost in their second cross-over match placing them in Division 2 Tier 2 on Sunday. The girls lost two games on Sunday and won two, finishing the day with a win over Saskatoon Connex Volleyball Club.

                In a series of tough battles the girls finished seventh in Div. 2 Tier 2 improving their placement from the second Sask Cup where they took bronze in Div. 2 Tier 3.

                Next action for the Vipers is on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, where the 15U team will compete in Warman in their second Sask Cup of the year.
