WEYBURN – Several of the Weyburn Agricultural Society directors and members of the Flavours of Fall committee recently gathered in front of Exhibition Hall to hammer out the final details of the event to be held on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Organizers are excited to bring in 30 vendors for everyone to try out the samples of food and drink, after the event had to be cancelled the last two years due to COVID restrictions.
The vendors will include local restaurants, and breweries and distilleries from the area and from around the province.
The event will also feature local entertainment with Richard Beach and the band Switch on the stage, as Flavours will run from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Advance tickets are $20, available at Pharmasave as of Sept. 20, or $25 at the door, with a limited number of tickets to be available.
A feature this year is those who arrive by 9 p.m. will be entered into a draw for a stocked beer fridge.
The variety of food and beverage sampling is turning out to be one the best collections the organizers have had since the start of the event in 2016.
