The Weyburn Comprehensive School Eagles Senior Boys and Girls volleyball teams and the Prairie Sky Co-op teamed up to raise money and food donations for the Salvation Army during the annual Co-op Series volleyball match up against Estevan.
On Oct. 12, the home-and-home volleyball series concluded with Weyburn defeating Estevan in the series.
In addition to donations of non-perishable food items, funds raised at the event totaled $320 and the Co-op contributed an additional $500.
The Weyburn Comprehensive School sent a thanks to all those who made it out to support our volleyball team and the Salvation Army.
