A friendly reminder: The Carlyle RCMP want to encourage people to lock their vehicles and houses.
RCMP

A friendly reminder: The Carlyle RCMP want to encourage people to lock their vehicles and houses. Many people will leave a vehicle unlocked and hide a key somewhere on the vehicle, but RCMP want people to know that there are only so many hiding places and a hidden key is not a good idea. RCMP have received various calls regarding vehicles that have been entered, but if unlocked then it is not a breaking and entering.

In regards to fraud RCMP remind people that if someone offers you money, but you have to send them money first it is likely fraud. Additionally, if someone calls asking for bank information, Social Insurance Number, and Date of Birth it is likely a fraud. If you suspect you’re being a target of fraud contact the Canadian Anti Fraud Agency.
