An interview with Detachment Commander Darren Simons

Simons has asked for the public to phone the police directly if there are any crimes that need attention in a timely manner rather than phoning Crime stoppers.听 The report time of Crime stoppers can cause a delay in dealing with cases that need immediate attention. All callers can still remain anonymous even when phoning police directly.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Police responded to a call in Redvers about an intoxicated man exposing himself on his front lawn. He was arrested and charged and remains in custody because of repeated offenses.

听听听听听听听听听听听 听In Carlyle there was a domestic assault charge laid on an individual who assaulted a common law partner in front of police. 鈥淲e鈥檙e not exactly sure what happened before we got there, but we know what happened after,鈥� said Simons.

听听听听听听听听听听听 A second call in the Carlyle area lead to charges for both parties involved, one party was then transported to Regina due to outstanding warrants.

听听听听听听听听听听听 There was a disturbance at White Bear Health Clinic where several individual got into a fight. All involved where charged for disturbance and give a court a notice to appear in court.

听听听听听听听听听听听 A disturbance was reported in the Carlyle Area at a residence. Emergency Medical Services attended to treat a minor injury and no charges were filed.

听听听听听听听听听听听 A dispute was attended in Carlyle between two individuals breaking up, no charges were laid and police kept the peace...

听听听听听听听听听听听 A call came in of an erratic driving on highway 13 throwing beer cans out of the car window driving near Kisby. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
