ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Three vehicles were stopped this week by police for motor vehicle insurance violations. The fine for this offence is $580. Police also issued two fines of $230 each for intersection-related offences.
ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members issued several speeding tickets within the detachment area this week, with fines reaching $192.
ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual failed to produce a driver's licence at the request of a police officer.
ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Police also issued fines and/or warnings for the following offences: failure to wear a seatbelt, operating motor a vehicle with inadequate speedometer, a windshield in need of repair, an obstructed licence plate, an inadequate licence plate (where letters and numbers were difficult to read), window tint, inadequate tail lights, inadequate headlamps and inadequate trailer lights. In addition, one motorist also failed to display a registration permit in the window of a large vehicle and another failed to produce a vehicle inspection certificate.
