ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An area business called 911 in an effort to test the number. This is not recommended by RCMP.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An alarm at a business in Carlyle went off in error.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Assault

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual in Kisbey was charged with assault regarding an altercation which involved two people. This individual was arrested and held in custody. Other charges include: uttering threats, possessing a firearm contrary to a prohibition order and breach of release conditions. This individual is still in custody.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ In the Carlyle area, an individual was charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. This person also faces other charges which include impaired driving.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Assistance

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP assisted hunters who were stuck in Moose Mountain Provincial Park.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Carlyle RCMP received a report of a person who was walking on Hwy 9 holding what looked like a gun or a bottle. Police were called three hours after the individual was spotted, so although police made patrols, this person was not found. Staff Sgt. Darren Simons says: β€œPlease bring your concerns to our attention as quickly as possible, so we can assist you as quickly as possible.”

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual in Redvers called the RCMP as they were upset with regards to their neighbour's Halloween decorations as well as the fact that the neighbour in question also owned a large dog. Police informed this person that this was not a police matter and therefore, there was nothing members could do.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An RCMP member changed a flat tire for a motorist on an area highway.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members provided assistance at Carlyle's Terry Fox Run.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Break and enter

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A break and enter which occurred at in a rural area is still under investigation by RCMP.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Theft

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An incidence of theft under $5,000 was investigated by Carlyle RCMP.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Traffic offences/Collisions

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A vehicle rollover in the Redvers area resulted in an individual incurring injuries which resulted in this person being transported to hospital via STARS air ambulance. Lack of seatbelt use was a factor.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A collision between a semi and a tractor near Redvers did not result in any serious injuries.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ In two separate incidents - one in the Kisbey area and one near Manor - vehicles collided with a deer and a horse, respectively.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP received two reports of possibly-impaired drivers from members of the public - one in the Carlyle area and one near Kisbey. Members made patrols, but neither of these vehicles were located.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Police responded to one report of an erratic driver.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members dealt with four motor vehicle insurance violations this week. The fine for this offence is $580. Police also issued fines of $230 each to two motorists for intersection-related offences, as well as issuing several speeding tickets, reaching fines totalling $188 and one ticket for failing to wear a seatbelt.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Other traffic offences RCMP members dealt with this week included: insecure loads, inadequate headlamps, and numerous incidents of motorists driving without a valid drivers licence and/or failing to produce a valid drivers licence.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Mental Health

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members dealt with one mental health file this week.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Mischief/Vandalism

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ In the Carlyle area, an intoxicated individual who was setting off fireworks was dealt with by RCMP members.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Police are investigating the sending of rude and possibly threatening letters sent to individuals in the Antler area.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An incidence of mischief involving a youth in the Arcola area is under investigation by RCMP.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A vehicle window in Carlyle was broken.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Sexual assault

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Carlyle RCMP are currently conducting two separate sexual assault investigations within the detachment area.
