The Carlyle RCMP detachment dealt with several calls from Thursday, Sept. 21 to Thursday, Sept. 28.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ 911

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual called 911 to inform police about a property dispute stemming from a personal relationship and involving a matter which RCMP members had dealt with previously. This person was spoken to and reminded not to use 911 for this (non-emergency) purpose.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Another person was also warned by police about the misuse of 911 when they called to inform RCMP that their vehicle had broken down.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A hang-up call to the 911 emergency number from an unregistered phone was determined to be made from the Manor area. RCMP attempted to locate the caller, but were unable to do so.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Several misdials were made to 911.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Alcohol-related offences

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual was charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving and refusing to provide a breath sample.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An intoxicated male was arrested and lodged in cells until sober.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP made patrols after receiving a report of a possibly-impaired driver in the Wawota area.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members responded to a report of an underage youth who was alledgedly consuming alcohol.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Police made patrols after they received a call reporting an impaired driver.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Assault

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ One person was arrested regarding a domestic assault which took place in the Carlyle area.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP charged one person with assault and another individual with obstruction, outstanding warrants and giving police a false name regarding an assault which took place in the detachment area.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ In Redvers, members found a reported assault to be a verbal argument. Police dealt with the situation, which was determined to a be civil matter.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members are currently investigating an assault which allegedly took place in the Carlyle area.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Animal call(s)

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A motorist collided with a horse near Kisbey. The animal died as a result of the accident.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP were called to the Carlyle area after receiving a report of some bones being found. These bones were determined to be non-human and were those of a large herbivore.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Assistance

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Carlyle RCMP assisted the Crown Prosecutors' offoce by serving documents.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members are assisting the Estevan Police Service with an investigation.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Breach of conditions

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members are currently investigating a report of an individual who may have breached their release conditions.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Firearms/Weapons

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP are currently investigating an incident in which a person or persons fired a gun into the windows of a school, breaking windows.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual found knives in the Carlyle area and called police, who disposed of them.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Lost property

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP received a report of lost keys.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Mischief

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members are still investigating a mischief call regarding a possible fight.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Property damage

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A truck in Moose Mountain Park was vandalized.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual called the RCMP to report property damage. RCMP determined that the situation was a civil matter and advised this person accordingly.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP received a report of property damage in Redvers. This was reported for information purposes.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Theft

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A theft in the Carlyle area is currently under investigation by RCMP.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Traffic offences/Collisions

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A collision on Hwys 9 and 13 resulted in minor injuries. An individual was charged with driving with undue care and attention.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A hit-and-run in Redvers resulted in damage to a vehicle.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A driver in Carlyle was charged with driving while suspended from doing so provincially.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Another individual was found to be driving while suspended from doing so.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP dealt with four motorists who were using cellphones while driving. One driver was spoken to by police, while three were fined $280 each.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Police are currently investigating an incident in Wawota in which a driver was reportedly driving oversized equipment, contraty to the Traffic Safety Act.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ The report of an erratic driver in the Kisbey area is currently under investigation by RCMP.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members issued five fines of $580 each to motorists who committed insurance violations.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP issued several tickets on Hwy 13 to individuals for passing an emergency vehicle at over 60 km per hour.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Police issued a fine of $230 to a driver for not stopping at a posted stop sign.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP issued several speeding tickets during this period, including one which resulted in a $352 fine.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Members issued four fines of $175 each to motorists who were driving but not wearing seatbelts. RCMP also issued several tickets and warnings to drivers for windshield, tailight, seatbelt, muffler and brake light violations.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A driver who was hauling an oversized trailer with improper signage received a $90 fine.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ RCMP responded to several complaints regarding motorists.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual driving a golf cart in Redvers was located by police and spoken to.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ Uttering threats

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ An individual contacted the RCMP after they received a letter in the mail. Upon investigation, members found this letter to be slanderous in nature.

ΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύΜύ A report of uttering threats from the Redvers area was deemed to be unfounded by RCMP.
