This report will cover the days of Dec. 10 to Dec. 14.

The Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP responded to a total of 26 calls over this time period.

A report of a deer MVA began the calls for Dec. 10.

In the vicinity of Antler.

The vehicle was apparently driveable, and the operator of the vehicle did not report any injuries.

Carlyle members provided assistance to the Regina municipal policing services.

The Regina police requested that a report of a hit-and-run occurred in Regina be taken by local members.

An investigation is underway regarding an NSF (not sufficient funds) cheque.

The complainant in the case requested the investigation following the issuing of a cheque for a considerable amount of money.

A request for assistance from the municipal policing services in the city of Moose Jaw was received by the detachment.

On behalf of the Moose Jaw police, members issued a parking summons to a resident of Carlyle.

Police activities on the day of Dec. 11 began with a roadside stop by members on patrol.

The members had sighted the suspect vehicle leaving an establishment known to service alcohol.

Pulling the vehicle over, members noticed the light odour of alcohol, and applied a breathalyser test.

The outcome of the test did not show the driver to be over the 0.08 blood/alcohol limit. The number was still sufficiently high that members issued a 24-hour licence.

A complaint of an impaired driver saw detachment members share information with Carnduff Detachment.

A vehicle was seen by members on patrol leaving the Arcola Prairie Place arena exhibiting suspicious speed and handling.

The vehicle in question was stopped, and members determined the individual had consumed enough alcohol to impair their driving abilities.

The driver, a 24-year-old male, was issued a 24-hour licence suspension.

Another vehicle spotted in the community of Arcola drew members to investigate when a patrol noticed the vehicle had been improperly parked on the road.

The driver, who was observed to be in a state of intoxication, was transferred to the detachment building to undergo a breath test.

The test showed the individual over the 0.08 limit, and was subsequently charged.

A ticket in the amount of $580 was issued to a resident of Wolseley, SK.

The 29-year-old driver, proved to be unlicensed and unregistered as a driver.

An 18-year-old woman received a citation in the amount of $360 for having alcoholic beverages within the front seat of a vehicle.

Occurrences on Dec. 12 began with a report of an intoxicated individual in the area.

The complainant stated to police that the individual in question had become loud, and was scaring the children who were in the home.

Members attended the residence, to find the situation had calmed significantly.

The individuals all declined to press charges, and the matter is considered closed at this time.

A call was received by a resident of Kenosee Lake complaining of damage to a personal vehicle.

The complainant stated that the damage had been done to the vehicle overnight.

Responding members, upon examining the damage, were unable to ascertain whether the damage was due to a hit-and-run, or purposeful mischief.

The matter continues to be investigated.

A report of an assault was made to the detachment.

The complainant detailed a situation where, when in the presence of a second individual, an accusation was made against the complainant, after which time the complainant was assaulted.

The matter continues to be under investigation.

Beginning Dec. 13, a report from a concerned citizen was received which spoke of two young women hitchhiking on highway 13, just west of Arcola.

The two persons in question were later spoken to by police, and informed of the danger that being out in the cold while inadequately dressed presented.

A wallet was turned into the Carlyle detachment after it was found at the Â鶹ÊÓƵern Plains Co-op gas station, located on the intersection of highways 13 and 9.

The owner who was identified and contacted by police.

A complaint of a hit-and-run was made by a person from the Bear Claw Casino parking lot.

The complainant, who had been inside the casino at the time of the incident, asked for a report to be filed and a file number given to them for insurance purposes.

A distressed parent contacted the RCMP to report a missing person.

The missing person in question, a 30-year-old man, had last been seen at 11 p.m. the previous night.

Some time later, the suspected missing person contacted police.

A call requesting police assistance drew members to a residence in the area.

The report detailed an intoxicated individual.

Responding members took the 18-year-old male into custody, and the individual was lodged in cells until sober.

A report of an abandoned vehicle drew members to a grid road outside the community of Forget.

Members attended the scene, and were unable to contact or locate the vehicle owner.

It was later reported the vehicle was driven away by the assumed owner.

Calls on Dec. 14 began with the report of a dangerous driver on highway 9.

Members patrolled, but were unable to find the vehicle in question.

Domestic violence complaints drew members to a residence where a father and son were involved in a dispute.

Arriving members in the end saw the issue had settled, and the matter is closed.

Complaints of an intoxicated individual led members to relocate one person.

A collision at an ice rink in the area led to a call to the Carlyle Detachment.

While those involved in the collision had worked things out amongst themselves, they nonetheless requested a report be filed for insurance purposes.
