The weekly RCMP report is prepared with the assistance of the Carlyle RCMP. Issues involving the Mental Health Act, among others, are not reported.
The report this week covers the period of Feb. 18 - Feb. 25. The detachment assisted with 33 calls.
Police were called to residential alarm in Arcola Feb. 18. It turned out to be a false alarm.
Carlyle RCMP assisted Yorkton RCMP with regards to a missing person. Members located the young person and the youth was returned to family.
Members assisted Regina Police Services by conducting an interview regarding a hit and run.
There was a 911 call for a two-vehicle accident at Redvers. No charges were laid. There were no injuries.
Police received a complaint of a hit-and-run that took place in the Weyburn area. Members took the information and forwarded it onto Weyburn to continue the investigation.
Police were dispatched through a 911 call to Moose Mountain Provincial Park. Members attended and learned there was a child who had been playing with the phone.
Members were called out to a possible assault in the Carlyle area. Police did locate one victim with minor injuries, but at this time charges are not pending. Alcohol was a factor. This matter is still under investigation.
Police were called to a licensed establishment in Carlyle to remove two intoxicated males. When police arrived, the males were already leaving, therefore police just informed them they were not welcome there. No charges were laid.
There was a motor vehicle collision with a deer on highway 13 near Antler on Feb. 19. No injuries were reported.
Police received a report of threatening texts being received by a person in the Carlyle area. RCMP located the suspect and the matter is being dealt with outside of court.
Police issued a seatbelt ticket to a driver in Arcola.
The detachment received a call regarding a disqualified driver driving in the Carlyle area. Police patrols were unsuccessful at locating the individual of complaint.
Police issued a $200 speeding ticket on highway 9 north of Carlyle.
Members issued a $186 speeding ticket to a driver in the Carlyle area.
Police were called to a disturbance at a home in the Carlyle area on Feb. 20. A male was removed from the home, and at this time charges are not pending.
Police issued a seatbelt ticket to a driver in Carlyle.
Members were called to Carlyle to look into a report that a vehicle was taken without consent. The vehicle was later located and the owner did not support charges.
Members were called to a business in Carlyle for an alarm on Feb. 21. RCMP arrived and discovered there was no intrusion or no damage. It was deemed to be a false alarm.
There was a complaint of a theft of medication in the Carlyle area. Police continue to investigate.
The detachment took a complaint of a theft of a license plate on Feb. 22. The plate was removed off the vehicle at an unknown point in time.
Police received a complaint of harassing phone calls. This matter is still under investigation.
There was a complaint of harassing phone calls from Redvers. Police spoke to the suspect and at this time, charges are not pending.
An individual reported losing a Green Bay jersey in Redvers. If anyone has any information on this, contact police.
Police received a complaint of harassing phone calls in the Carlyle area on Feb. 23. The call was traced and RCMP are searching for the suspect.
Members received a complaint that a cell phone was stolen in Carlyle. This matter is still being investigated.
RCMP received a 911 call to a residence in the Carlyle area, regarding a domestic disturbance on Feb. 24. RCMP attended and found the male outside the home.
Police were called to site near Kisbey for an assault on Feb. 25. The victim attended the hospital and was released with minor injuries. This matter is still being investigated.
There was a two-vehicle collision in Carlyle. No injuries were reported. A 16-year-old male was charged with driving without due care and attention.
Members were called to a licensed establishment in Arcola because two intoxicated individuals were fighting. The fight broke up prior to police arrival and the suspects had fled. Police are still looking into the matter.
