Between Aug.16 to Aug. 22 there were a total of 86 calls received by the Carlyle detachment of the RCMP.

911 Calls

There was a 911 call regarding a domestic dispute in Redvers.

False Alarms

There was a false alarm on Main Street in Carlyle.

There was a false fire alarm in Redvers.

Assault

A 16-year-old male was charged for assault in the local area.

Assisting the public

There was a call from Wawota for assistance in rescuing a cat.

Assistance was also requested in Arcola regarding issues concerning rent.

Animal Calls

There was an animal call near Forget to remove cattle from the road. Upon arrival the farmer already rounded up the cattle and fixed the fence.

A dog with an Alberta tag was found in Carlyle, the owner was eventually found.

In Wawota there were reports of a barking dog, the owner was found and provided a copy of the town by-laws.

Breach of the Peace

There was a report of breach of the peace in the local area, members attended and it was a case of parents arguing but it was eventually resolved.

There was also the case of breech of the peace in Carlyle with individuals fighting, they were separated and there were no further problems.

There was noise complaint in Carlyle, regarding vehicles racing in town, checks were made but the vehicles were not located.

There were complaints of an intoxicated male not wanting to leave the complainants residence; he was removed from the residence and no charges were laid.

In Moose Mountain Provincial Park, there was a report of disturbance of the peace with an uncle and nephew arguing, both parties were found and separated.

There were reports of an individual in Carlyle shooting arrows across the street but this was found to be false as the individual was shooting on private property and not from across the street.

In Kenosee Lake village a 20 year-old-male was charged with failing to comply with his release conditions.There was a loud party complaint in the local area, it was attended and shut down.

Fire

A house was reported to be on fire in Manor, reports are that it was started from leaving oil on the stove.

A vehicle fire was reported and happened at a location north of Kisbey, there were no injuries and the cause resulted from an electrical problem.

Fraud

There were complaints of fraud in the local area near Kisbey; the complainant received a computer message offering help to rid their computer of viruses.

There was a report of a suspicious person in Manor committing fraud. A 26-year-old woman was located who was selling books, it was confirmed she had a license to conduct business and found to be credible. Lost and Found

A Blackberry was reported lost in Carlyle.

Mischief

There were reports of damage to a boat house in the local area.

Near Kisbey there were reports of damage to a building in an oil field, no suspects were found and the matter is still under investigation.

There were complaints about gunshots in the local area but when checks were made it was found to be fireworks.

Collision

There was a two vehicle collision near Kisbey on Highway 13, the driver was injured.

Hit and Run

There was a hit and run in the local area, a black Chevy Silverado was struck, the matter is still under investigation.

Traffic Infractions

A 25-year-old female was issued a traffic ticket near Highway 9 and fined $186.

In Carlyle a 20-year-old female was fined $135 for speeding.

In Carlyle a 31-year-old male was fined $150 for speeding on Highway 9.

A 20-year-old female was fined $242 for speeding while passing an emergency vehicle.

A 43 year old male was fine $133 for speeding on Highway 9 near Carlyle.

In White Bear a 60-year-old male was charged $139 for speeding.

In White Bear a 49-year-old male was fined $139 for speeding.

In White Bear a 20 year-old-male was charged for speeding.

A 16-year-old female was fined $135 for speeding on Highway 9.

In Redvers a 35-year-old female was fined $192 for speeding.

In Carlyle a 20-year-old male was fined $150 for speeding.

A 21 year old was charged in Carlyle for driving while suspended.

In the local area a 33-year-old male was fined $206 for speeding Intoxication

An intoxicated male in Arcola, it was a conflict with their brother, it was resolvedThere was a request to locate an individual in Carlyle, they however returned homeSuspicious person in the local area, it was intoxicated male who was struck by a mirror of a vehicle passing on the highway. He was assisted to the hospital.

Animal complaints near Kisbey and Forget - no cattle found.

Theft

There were reports of a razor quad being stolen from a job site in the local area, the matter is still under investigation.There were also reports of tools stolen from a rig site north of Carlyle, the value of the tools in $3000. The matter is still under investigation.
