Calls for Feb. 3 began with a concerned call about a rollover near the community of Parkman. A 27-year-old male from Innisvale, AB, stopped in to make a statement regarding the rollover. The information was taken for insurance purposes.

Calls for Feb. 3 began with a concerned call about a rollover near the community of Parkman.

A 27-year-old male from Innisvale, AB, stopped in to make a statement regarding the rollover.

The information was taken for insurance purposes. No injuries resulted from the rollover.

A $138 speeding ticket was issued to a 49-year-old Arcola man who was clocked doing 128 kph in a 100 kph zone.

An individual stopped into the detachment to report a deer MVA in the vicinity of Arcola.

The 30-year-old male driver was not injured in the incident, and information was taken for insurance purposes.

Members on patrol in the community of Wawota happened upon an individual walking in the community with an open liquor container.

A 44-year-old male resident of the town was issued a citation in the amount of $250 for consuming liquor in public.

A complainant contacted police with concerns about a child being towed behind a bicycle in the area near Carlyle.

With thick fog about, and the bike lacking reflectors, the caller was concerned about the well being of the cyclist and child, as they were riding on the highway shoulder.

Members patrolled the area identified by the caller as where the cyclist was last seen, however they were unable to locate the person.

A false alarm drew members to the town of Redvers, where it was determined that the businesses alarm had malfunctioned.

Members were contacted by a licensed repossesser at Bear Claw Casino.

The agent, who had been dispatched from Regina, had been confronted by casino security, who were concerned the individual was stealing the vehicle in question.

The caller reported that the security detail wanted RCMP present while the repossession of the vehicle took place.

Before members arrived however, the agent called back to say police involvement was no longer needed, and the file is closed.

Two complaints of dangerous driving brought members to the vicinity of Forget.

One caller reported a truck passing dangerously at high speeds, with three to four occupants.

The second reported a similar vehicle on highway 33.

Members patrolled, but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

A distressed caller contacted the detachment to report that they had given remote access to their computer to an individual involved in what they believed to be a phone scam.

The individual stated that an attempt had been made to access a financial account.

Members took the information, and recommended that the caller contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Feb. 4th started quickly with a call for police assistance with an unruly customer at a bar in Carlyle.

The caller reported the individual refused to leave the establishment when asked, and was acting in a belligerent manner.

The individual had left the premises by the time members arrived, and the case is now closed.

A 26-year-old Regina male is a little poorer and a little wiser after being issued a ticket in the amount of $196 for speeding.

The driver was clocked doing 138 kph in a 100 kph zone.

A 41-year-old Carlyle resident was also issued a ticket for speeding, in the amount of $135, for driving at 125 kph in a 100 kph zone.

Yet another speeding fine was issued to a 60-year-old Arcola male for doing 132 kph in a 100 kph zone.

That ticket cost the driver the sum of $184.

Police were called to the Carlyle Sports Arena to investigate allegations of an assault that took place off-ice during a hockey game.

Two patrons reportedly had a fisticuffs at the arena during the game.

Members continue to investigate.

Carlyle Detachment responded to an MVA that tragically ended in the death of a 61-year-old male.

The accident, which occurred at a junction with highway 13 near Arcola, drew a Traffic Analyst from the RCMP Yorkton Detachment to investigate.

There have been no charges laid in relation to the MVA.

A 911 call drew members towards the door when an Arcola resident contacted the detachment to report a missing 6-year-old child.

All ended well however when, before the call had been completed, the child was found safe at the home.

A complainant contacted the detachment from Pheasant Rump to seek assistance with harassing phone text messages.

The messages, which the caller said were not for them, and despite several attempts to text the originator of the harassing messages back, they continued to ring through to the individual's phone.

Investigating members took the information and called the number the text messages were originating from, leaving a message on a voicemail system to cease texting the complainant's numbers.

The complainant contacted the detachment later to say the text messages had ceased, and the file is considered closed.

A low-speed, two-vehicle MVA at the Arcola Co-op cardlock drew members to investigate.

Due to the low speeds involved, no injuries occurred, and no charges have been laid in relation to the matter.

Members responded to the report of a single-vehicle MVA in the vicinity of Arcola.

The vehicle was not driveable following the occurrence, and no charges have been laid in relation to the case.

A report of mischief, in the form of vandalism, drew members to investigate on Main St. in Carlyle.

Two businesses reported graffiti being done on the rear of the buildings overnight.

Investigating officers determined the material used for the graffiti was not permanent, and was easily removed.

The businesses were so informed, and the investigation into the event is continuing.
